The flattened out section of the Horizon’s hull increases primary and secondary stability and also contributes towards a quicker turning circle, assisting greatly in surfing waves. The deep sharp V sectionat the hull enables the paddler to maintain maximum speeds into a head wind, and cut through chop and the higher profile in the front deck displaces water well though the surf. The seat is very deep and opens out for the widest waist at the rails while tapering to the bottom, centering smaller paddlers so that they do not float around in the seat.
