The flattened out section of the Horizon’s hull increases primary and secondary stability and also contributes towards a quicker turning circle, assisting greatly in surfing waves. This surf ski’s hull, a deep sharp V section, enables the paddler to maintain maximum speeds into a head wind, and cut through chop onto runs and waves very easily. The seat is very deep and opens out for the widest waist at the rails while tapering to the bottom, centering smaller paddlers so that they do not float around in the seat. The tracking on the sides is now mounted vertically to make room for a wider foot push plate to accommodate any size feet. The higher profile in the front deck gives the Horizon surf ski a racier look and displaces water well though the surf.
