Pittwater Discovery Tour

Our Pittwater Discovery guided kayak tours launch from our Bayview marina location, the second Saturday of every month. (Next Tour is 11th September 2010). Accompanied by our friendly Paddlecraft guide, you will safely explore the scenic waterways of Pittwater including McCarrs Creek, Lovett Bay, Clareville Beach, Scotland Island and other lovely tour destinations.

The half day morning tour begins with a 9:00 orientation for a 9:30 relaxing paddle start. A wide range of single and double kayaks are available for the kayak tour and all levels of paddlers are welcomed! Bookings are essential – group minimums apply. Our Kayak tour destinations vary and will also depend on weather conditions and tidal schedules. The Bayview marina amenities include change facilities and showers, an outdoor café and picnic area. Enjoy a wonderful paddling day, and then, a refreshing wind down at the Bayview Marina!

Tour Details

The tour cost is $75 per person and includes the kayak hire and equipment, personal flotation devices, as well as, morning tea on a lovely Pittwater Beach. Single and double sit in kayaks with rudders available.
Group bookings for the kayak tours can receive discounts rates and alternate times and dates can also be available.

What to Bring

Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottle, towel, swimming costume / water resistant clothing, change of clothes, booties/old sand shoes, waterproof bag. Thermals/wind jacket or wetsuits are recommended on chilly days and during winter months.
